For the last few weeks I have been on holiday staying in Hua Hin, Thailand.
Unlike Pattaya where I stayed last year no commercial shipping can be seen from the shore and any ships that do pass are out of sight over the horizon.
I did however see some Royal Thai Naval vessels which were moored off shore guarding the royal residence. The ships I saw are noted below. My favourite is HTMS Pin Klao which was previously the USS Hemminger (DE 746) a Cannon Class destroyer escort which served in Pacific for the United States Navy during World War II. It is not often you see a US World War II destroyer sailing past you whilst you are walking down the beach - Looked great.
