She was built in Ulsan, South Korea by Hyundai Mipo as Yard Number 425 in 2006 and is 221.2m long with a 30m beam and 12m maximum draught.

Maximum TEU capacity is 2,824.

Powered by a B&W 7K80MC-C (25,279kW) diesel engine she has a maximum speed of 24 knots

Her first name was ER Miami.

She is operated by CMA CGM which was originally founded in Marseille in 1978 by Jacques Saade as Compagnie Maritime d' Affretement (CMA). Operating a single vessel between Beirut, Lattakia, Marseille and Livorno the company employed a total of 5 people. The group expanded rapidly from 1998 launching new lines worldwide, in December 1998 they acquired the Australian National Line (ANL) enabling expansion into Oceania. By 1998 the Group possessed  80
ships (20 of which they owned) and employed approximately 2500 people.
Compagnie Generale Maritime (CGM) was privatised by the French Government in 1996 and merged with CMA in 1999. Since 1999 the Company has continued to grow and is now one of the largest container carriers in the World.
