She was scrapped in Alang in late 2011 and at the time achieved the highest weekly scrap rate in the container segment with 16,143 ldt at $517/ldt due to good build, non ferrous content and the vessel equipment on board including full spares.

She was built by Atlantique, St.Nazaire, France in 1985 as Yard Number j28 and was 243.4m long with a 32.3m beam and 13.0m maximum draft.

Her maximum TEU capacity was 2536.

GT = 37,814, NT 17,339, DWT 53,726.

    My interest in ships and the sea started back in 2006 when I worked for a couple of years  on the banks of the River Mersey. I have since been on a couple of cruises around the Med and in the Far East and have started to take more interest in researching and photographing some of the ships and other vessels seen on my travels.
