I have finally got my list up to date, this has taken nearly two months and is all down to the shear number of vessels I saw whilst on holiday in August in Pattaya, Thailand.
To date I have seen 3,964 vessels with a total GT of 79,594,855. If you put all the vessels in a line they would stretch 562.47km or 349.5 miles.
Next week I am on holiday again on the Isle of Wight. The place where I stay overlooks the Solent so despite the sun going early I still hope to see a few new vessels.
I read that Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas will be in port in Southampton on Saturday which is the day we are sailing on one of the Red Funnel Ferries to East Cowes.
With a bit of luck I may also break the 4000 ship barrier.
